December, 2012 in accordance to section 19 of the Universities Act, No. 42 of 2012.
- DeKUT’s Main campus is located 6 Km from Nyeri town along Nyeri-Nyahururu road. Being
a Premier Technological University Excelling in Quality Education, Research and Technology Transfer, the University endeavors to provide an academically stimulating, culturally diverse and quality learning environment that engenders research, innovation and technology development geared towards producing relevant human resources and leaders that contribute significantly to the attainment of national development goals
