Mount Kenya University Admission Letter 2024/2025: Every year the university released an admission letter for new admission student. From the recent year, all new student has to generate their “KMU Admission Letter” from MKU Student Portal Online.
To generate the Admission Letter and print the letter from online, a student must have to register for a course at Mount Kenya University. Government-sponsored students must download and print the admission letter from

Mount Kenya University to pursue their careers in internationally recognized academic programmes. The following simple three steps for downloading Mount Kenya University Admission Letter and other documents.
- Click generate applicant letter of offer
- If University Transfer or Course Transfer
- Click Print /download letter of offer and other attached documents
1. Generate Applicant Letter of the offer
- 1. Go to the student portal i.e. https://studentportal.mku.ac.ke/
- 2. Go to applicants /new students
- 3. Enter the application reference or the index no./year e.g. 08237009083/2017
- 4. Click generate applicant letter of offer.
2. University Transfer or Course Transfer
a. Procedure For Inter-University Transfer:
- Log in in KUCCPS student portal
- Click on inter-university/Institution Transfer
- Fill out the form and download the PDF
- Take to the University transferring to for acceptance
- Take to the university transferring from for approval and release
- Return the dully filled form to KUCCPs for action
Note: The KUCCPS portal will be open (in the month of May for a limited time period) for inter-University Transfer
b. Procedure for Course/Programme Transfer
- Report to the KUCCPS, placed course/programme within the prescribed time.
- Get an admission number in the KUCCPS Placed course/Programme
- Fill the course transfer form
- Forward to the Releasing and Receiving HOD and Dean for approval
- Submit the Dully filled form to the Registrar Registration for action
Note: This procedure takes place after the student have reported with the courses they have been placed in by KUCCPS and have been issued with an admission number
3. Print/Download Admission Letter
- Print the admission letter
- Write a deferment letter addressed to the Registrar Academic Affairs
- Submit the deferment letter plus a copy of admission letter to the Registrar Admissions/Campus admission office/ send through admissions@mku.ac.ke.
