Kenyatta University allows students and faculty to create an account through Kenyatta University Portal @portal.ku.ac.ke. On a successful creation of your account can login into the portal. On an important note, you can’t access the portal until and unless you have an account with the Kenyatta University online.
KU Student Portal Homepage Login
Each portal segment (e.g., Student Portal, Faculty Portal) requires a user name and password. Even for the admission of Self Sponsored and Government Self Sponsored students must login into the portal for academic facilities.
To sign in:
- Type the Portal URL in the address bar of your browser.
- Click the name of a portal. For example, click Student Portal. The login page is displayed.
- Type the User name assigned to you for the Portal.
- Type the Password for your user name.If you forgot your password:
- Click Forgot Password .
- Enter your Username and Email Address.
- Click Submit. Your security questions are displayed.
- Answer the security questions and click Submit.
A message will indicate that your password is reset, and an email with the new password will be sent to you.
Note: Institutions can control whether the Forgot Your Password link is displayed.
- Click Sign In. The home page of the selected portal is displayed.
Password policies can be set depending on the needs of your institution. The policies may include a maximum password age. If a maximum password age is configured, a message is displayed prior to the expiration date reminding you to change your password.
To sign out:
- Click Signout.
- Close your browser window.
To sign out of Portal from SharePoint:
- Click Settings. SharePoint features integrated in Portal are displayed.
- Click your user name and then click Sign Out. The My Campus Login page is displayed.
- Close your browser window.
