Riara University Admission Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree
- 1. Mean grade of B- and above in KCSE or its equivalent with a B plain in English; or KACE with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass; or be holders of a degree from a recognised university; and
- 2. Be an all-rounded person with exceptional leadership skills and abilities; and
- 3. Participate in an oral interview to establish their suitability for the Riara Law School programme.
Pre-Kenya School of Law Compliance Programme
- LLB degree from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Science(B.Sc.) in Computer Science
- 1. A mean grade of C+ in KCSE and a minimum grade of C+ in both Mathematics and Physics or Physical Sciences or
- 2. At least two principal passes at A-Level and a minimum of a credit pass in both Mathematics or Physics or
- 3. A Diploma or Professional Certificate in a computing discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate or
- 4. A degree in a science-based discipline from a recognized university
Diploma Programmes
- 1. A Mean grade of C plain KCSE), or its equivalent; or
- 2. An IGCSE completed year 13 with a minimum of C or
- 3. An IB completed Grade 12 with minimum GPA of 3.00
- 4. A Pre-University certificate from an institution recognized by the Senate, with a minimum GPA of 2.5
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
(Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Procurement Supply Chain and Logistics Management)
- Mean grade of C+ (plus) and above at KCSE, and C (plain) in English and Maths, or its equivalent, Credit Transfer, Pre-University Certificate, 5 Upper Level Passes in IGCSE/IB, 5 Credit in GCE ‘O’/‘A’ Level, 12th Grade G.P.A of 2.50 or higher
Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT)
- A mean grade of C+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and a minimum of grade C in both Mathematics and Physics or Physical Sciences or at least two principal passes at A-Level and a minimum of a credit pass in both Mathematics and Physics or A Diploma or Professional Certificate in a computing discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate or a Degree in a science-based discipline from a recognized University.
Higher Diploma Programmes
- A degree or Diploma or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Diploma in Journalism
- 1. A minimum of C plain at KCSE or equivalent with a C or above in English and C in any Science.
2.Advanced (A) level or equivalent – 1 principal pass with a credit pass in English and any science at O – level.
3.Ordinary level with division III or equivalent.
Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy
- 1. A minimum of C plain at KCSE or equivalent with a C or above in English and C in any Science.
- 2. Advanced (A) level or equivalent – 1 principal pass with a credit pass in English and any science at O – level.
- 3. Ordinary level with division III or equivalent.
